Apart from oranges, this recipe also uses carrot that not only adds nice zing to its taste but also brings their own healthy dose of nutrients.
Carrot-Orange Juice
Ingredients
1/4 tsp Pearl Powder
2 Fresh Oranges
2 Medium Carrots
1/4 lime, optional
1 cup water
Ice Cubes
Directions:
Wash and cut the oranges and carrots and pat them dry.
Remove peel, separate each orange section, and remove seeds. Peel and cut carrots into chunks. Remove outer skin from the lime.
Add all of the juice ingredients into a blender. Add in 1 cup water and blend until smooth. Add more water if necessary.
Line a fine mesh strainer with cheesecloth. Pour the juice into the lined strainer. Gather up the sides of the cheesecloth to enclose all the juice and pulp inside, and twist the gathered tops together. Twist and squeeze to extract the juice. Discard the pulp.
