DIY Pampering Foot Baths

It is Pure Bliss when we pamper our feet at home by giving them a bath soak. This helps us relax and unwind and it feels amazing. We use our feet more than any other part of our bodies. They get tired, dry and scaly and the muscles become tender from walking on them all day long. Feet have been known as healing focal points for centuries and a comforting warm foot bath releases toxins and stimulates major organs in the body. It benefits our internal organs, respiratory system, circulation and Lymph vessels.

Soaking our feet soothes and pampers those tired and sore feet and it help to relieve muscle pain and stiffness, softens skin and gets rid odors.

Just like we need pampering, our feet need papering too, so we need to treat our feet to a stimulating foot bath.

Here you will find foot bath recipes that are easy to use with simple, inexpensive ingredients.

Pearl Powder is the main star here. Pearl contains minerals, 9 kinds of protein amino acids, calcium, and other micro-elements along with non-protein acid - taurine, which aids in inflammation and skin fatigue, and tranquilizes the nerves. When bathing your feet in Pearl Powder it absorbs into the skin to help relax and detoxify the entire body in addition to relieving stress. Pearl Powder nourishes the skin on your feet and makes it smooth, silky and soft.

This is what you need for your foot bath:

1. A bucket or plastic tub, something that fits your foot comfortably.

2. Warm water - Not too hot, not too cold, but just right.

3. A towel to dry your feet off.

4. Your choice of ingredients.

The main ingredient in these recipes is water and pearl powder, (essential oils are optional).

You may also use a massaging foot bath instead of a bucket or tub. The kneading massage nodes can work into sore muscle tissue and alleviate aches and pains.

2. After your foot bath, take a foot brush and brush them. After brushing rinse them off, take a warm towel and dry your feet, then give yourself and relaxing foot massage.

3. Rub the soles of your feet and anything that feels good when you rub. Rub your heel to the ball of the foot. Stretch out your toes and wiggle your ankles back and forth.

Rub the tops, sides and bottom of your toes to get the blood flowing. Squeeze your heel and the top side of your foot. Work to loosen the muscle and improve blood flow. Also remember to rub the muscles in your arch.

Massage each toe by sliding your index finger between the grooves and in between each tendon on the top of the foot. Repeat 5 times.
